can i run maya and max software with the configuration P4 1.7 ghz ,256 rd ram & can i add sd ram with rd ram?

It may or may not even start, but it will not run for very long and you won't really be able to do anything in the program. No, you can't add SDRAM with RDRAM.

There is really no way it's going to work with 256 mgs of RAM. You might be able to start maya or max, but they will crash really fast.
