It is a naturally occuring virus in monkeys. However, it is not usually fatal to monkeys. Back in the early seventies, a lab worker was bitten by an HIV infected monkey. He later spread the virus to a sex partner, etc. etc. etc. If people were not sleeping around so much, the virus would die out from lack of transmission, but people have unprotected sex and keep it going.

hiv(human immunodeficiency virus) is a virus that comes from a mutation of a virus found in certain monkeys.
virus mutate as part of their life ( why the flu is different every year)
it came to man when traders were cut or bit by the moneys, and their bloods touched.
aids is the condition you get when you have hiv.
aquired immune deficency syndrom.

actually HIV is a mutation of a virus that was created (inadvertently they say) by the World Health Organization.

Bubba that is not true because HIV cannot be transmitted from saliva only from sexual intercourse or blood. The sick man in Africa had sex with a monkey.....damn look it up it's in the books.

It accually turned out monkkeys had it, (genetic infections and a male who was (to graphic) got it from the monkey by (censored)
