I dont know if the father is around for this...
But last holloween mother was an angel, Father was Helvis (Devil/elvis mix). Daughter wore a beautiful little angel costume with devil horns!

You can do Mommy and Baby Witch Scooby and Scrappy Doo Snoopy and Woodstock Little Bo Peep and her Sheep Dolls, Raggedy Ann and Andy, Cabbage Patch Kids, etc 2 Peas in a Pod Mommy and her Bundle of Joy Stork and the Bundle of Joy Tinker Bell and Fairy Godmother Butter Fly and Flower Queen and Princess Mommy Mermaid and Ariel, or Baby Mermaid Angel and Cherub and make her stroller be a cloud she's riding on! You can be a Witch and she can be a Black Cat Cheerleader and Mascot, you can be the Cheerleader and she can be the team's mascot, all NFL and college teams have them! Pick a team that you can be the cheerleader for and have her be the mascot for the same team! Magician and her be the bunny! Clown and Jester Mother Nature and Baby New Year Cowgirl and Indian Pilgrim and Indian Ballerinas Witch and little Pumpkin Fairy Godmother and Princess, I really like this one!, but you're the one that has to like it! Her stroller can be made into her Chariot for the night with Solar lights that twinkle, and some streamers and things! It can be like her own Cinderella Chariot! This is all I can think of, but I hope you and your family have a fun, safe, and Happy Halloween!!

these all vary depending on age of child...The Halloween Store is usually at malls or plazas seasonally if you want to try bought costumes
*usually mother/daughters do exact costumes (adult /mini)
-queen/princess
-Matching raggedy anne costumes (Scarecrow attire and red yarn with exaggerated blush and eyes)
-Morticia/ Wednesday Adams
-Leopard/Kitten
-Tatiana (Shakespere's Fairy Queen) and Tinkerbell
Another idea is mom be an Uppercase letter (C &c or whatever initials) and daughter be the same lowercase letter // make own costumes// if their interested be creative...

They had a lot of giant wings at the Halloween store yesterday. Wearing giant wings would be so cool for almost any costume. Bat wings, angel wings, devil wings. You could be a demon, angel... Anything is scarier and more fun with giant wings! Zombie with skeleton wings! Ghost with angel wings!

I went as a witch one year and I dressed my son up as a bat (he was a baby), so I had to carry my BAT on my hip --- it was really cute. Or if she is walking already - how about a witch and black cat?
If you are older - go as Raggedy Ann and Andy.
Or how about You be the evil queen and your daughter can be Snow White.
