yes you can love someone that you haven't seen however, I don't think that you can fall In Love with someone that you haven't seen.

Ask a bonehead who loves Jesus. They never met him, or even know what he looked like or what sign he was or anything, and most are IN love with him.
My idea is that people have vivid imaginations, and love the idea of loving unselfishly, and "purely"(no sex) and religions feed that fantasy.
YES, the answer is Yes, but is it bright?? No.

Blind people certainly love others as much as anybody with sight, and the blind haven't seen anyone.
