oh god it's atrocious that footballers get £50000 a week and doctors get so much less blah blah blah
football clubs are, at the end of the day, no matter what you think of them, businesses. very successful businesses. a business' goal is to make a profit, and with the amount of money they're bringing in, they can more than afford to pay the players wages like that

It's a stupid amount of money I know, but they recoup this through branding and representing their club as a business.
What about the directors of top companies such as BT, WorldCom, etc. We just don't see that in the press.
Disgusting, yes, but, that's life.

nothing to with wether they earn it, its to do with supply and demand if everyone stopped subscribing to sky and stop going to matches,players would be earning the same as crown green bowlers.
