When i try to activate him as a TE it says "you have too many WR's active"

Depends on which league your in? He's dual listed in Yahoo as TE/WR, so you can pick his slot. Most other leagues have him as a WR now. Maybe your league has adjusted his status?
He is killing all the real TE's statistically and maybe people who didn't snap him up have complained? I guess he was listed as a TE in camp?

In the NFL case, Marques Colston is not listed as a TE officially, so technically, Colston is not recognized as TE according to the NFL, but rather as a WR. Colston would have to play a few games (2 to 5 games) at TE in order for him to qualify for that position (starting the game as TE). Most league (within exception to Yahoo!) would recognized that and make Colston another WR in the league.

the only leagues ive seen colston listed as a TE is Yahoo
the others hes a WR

because you have to many wide recivers on your roster try that i play madden games all the time

it works for yahoo fantasy only, i have him in yahoo one and it works.
