Ah! The RACE card!
Yep...this is a hot button with a lot of folks alright!!
I say there IS no "race" among humans. It is a vestigial term from a hateful era of humanity and must be eliminated from our language.

let's see, i grew up during the 60's &70's in the middle of the bible belt, raised by fundementalists, i'm white....yeah, without doubt my parents were "pacively racist" and felt i should adhere to the "way of the W.A.S.P." well, i "failed", and the result is that i now have a wonderfully blended multi-cultural family, a family that even my parents adore. advice? don't make race an issue, make it a NON-issue. true, while living under your parents roof, you need to abide by their rules...it doesn't mean you have to lose your ideals, before you know it you'll have the rest of your life to live by them. hang in there!
