Long term weight loss is normally achieved by carefully reducing calorific intake and inceasing exercise, not taking pills.

If a man takes estrogen (a woman's hormone) I would think he would start to develop female sexual characteristics (voice higher, breasts will grow, and his libido will diminish). As far as weight loss, I've never heard of this one before. Try just eating less and exercising more.
