I want to transfer documents from my laptop to my pc.

Just plug it into a USB port. Open up Windows Explorer or My Computer, and it will show up as a removable drive with a letter. Open up the removable drive, and you can move files to and from the drive.

you use it like a the old floppy disk, you insert in the USB port of your computer and drop what ever files to it
