it should be as i just asked this because i am traveling abroad and wanted to know the same thing about my debit card which also has the visa logo...the bank said yes but if the atm machine is not one approved there will be extra fees...now yours is a credit card so there should be no extra fees, in fact its much safe to use a credit card when traveling anywhere.

Visa cards are recognized world wide. If there's an ATM machine, your card will work. I was recently in China, and there was no problem.
