An Irishman is sittin in a pub one night when three Englishmen walked in. The men sat down and started to talk about how they could anger the Irishman...The first man says, "Watch this..." He gets up, walks over to the Irishman and says "Hey man, I hear your St.Patrick was a f****t!". The Irishman just replies, "Oh is that so now?" The Englishman goes back to his seat perplexed, when his friend jumps up and says, "Here, lemme try that." So he goes over to the Irishman and says "Hey man, I hear your St.Patrick was a transvestite f****t!" The Irishman only replies,"Oh is that so now?" So the Englishman, frustrated, goes and sits down with his friends. Then the third Englishman jumps up and says, "Well,I'm gonna try that!". So he walks over to the Irishman and says,"Hey, I hear your your St.Patrick was an Englishman!" And the Irishman replies,"Aye, that's what your friends were sayin." :)

As a person of mixed English and Irish stock, I have no problems with jokes such as this, although it does make a change for the Irishman to win.

Here is another joke. An Irishman went to a building site in London and asked for a job. The Foreman replied " I am looking for men, but I don't want any thickoes, and you Irish have the reputation of being a bit on the dim side. So, Paddy, what is the difference between a girder and a joist?"

As quick as a flash, the Irishman replies "Dere's no trouble dere - Goethe wrote Faust, Joyce wrote Finnegans Wake"!!

Tiocfaidh, etc
