I have had scratches and dirt on my iPod even before I got it outta the box. It had some on it when I first got it. What is the best way to clean it up and try to get rid of some of the scratches?

Oh, and I've had it for almost a year now, so I probably can't return it.

I used Tap Plastics' polisher for the scratches on my ipod's screen and I'm very happy with the results.

My iPod was the same exact way...I don't even use it because anything that can get ruined before I touch it does not need to be around me. I've been told about the product in the URL below. I did a few web searches on it and competing products, and heard different opinions on each one. I haven't gotten a chance to try any of them yet, but I plan on using the Ice Creme 2.
