The Cardinals are not that good of a team. The National League is not that strong compared to the American League. Whether Carpenter wins tonight really doesn't matter. They don't have any depth in their rotation and eventually the Mets will over power them with their bats. Mets will win in 5 or 6 games.

I think they'll pull 1 out but the problem is that the Cards play down to the wire every year & then have to play other teams like the Mets who coasted into the playoffs and had time to rest. In my opinion, that's why they've been in the NLCS 4 out of the last 5 years but haven't won a Series game since 1987. I'd love to see a Detroit - St. Louis Series. Two real baseball towns that would be great for the game. But it looks like Mets & Tigers. And I gotta go with the Tigers in that one - their pitching is just too deep & NY has too many injuries.

So what if Chris Carpenter pitches tonight? Don't think that the Mets are gonna be scared and go cryin'. The Mets is the team that have overcome a lot of adversity. Do you really think that Mets are gonna just give up hope tonight? Hell, no!!! They're gonna keep fightin' no matter what and however they could.

Chris Carpenter may be 15 and 8, but he is 4 and 6 vs teams with a winning record.
Mets win tonight.

Who woulda thunk it you ask? in simple terms like Monica stated, anybody concept (mutually with me) that the taking part in cards have been gifted, yet not gifted adequate to win a convention championship not to point a wild card game. the only people who KNEW that the cardinals have been gifted adequate learn from their blunders earlier interior the season and positioned the brakes on atlanta, the wear and tear on the panthers, and out-offense philly have been the education team of the cardinals, their gamers, maximum heavily the tride and genuine followers of the arizona cardinals who have been their in the past all of the honest-climate followers confirmed up!! bypass CARDINALS! positioned the wear and tear on the Steelers!

Yep - choke like a prom date on her knees. The last few years the 'Stros have had their number. And this year so did the Reds of all teams (reg season). Next year they won't even make the playoffs - the NL central isn't theirs anymore. It will belong to Houston for awhile.
