My daughter is 17 and she and her baby live with me. Can I file for child support from her babys daddy even if she doesn't want to?

If I were in your shoes..... I would give my "daughter" some time (say about 2-3 months) to get out of my house!!!!! If she is already sexually active (and worst, gets pregnant) at that age, then she is proving that she is ready for LIFE.... She should step into the real world, not hide behind parents...... as for your question, I don't know. Sorry, but hope this helps, Take care, JME

I believe your daughter, as the custodial parent has to do it, but you can help her with the process.

nope. if she doesn't sign the paternity papers...there's not a thing you can do. unless you have legal custody of your grandchild.
