I have to take birth control 2 get my period back.....?

but i smoke a pack of cigs a week (im 18) should i take it? is it safe since im under 35 and dont smoke alot?

Look at it this way, would you rather have sex and not have the worry of getting pregnant and living a healthy life by not smoking, or worry everytime you have sex even if you use a condom and smoking and living an unhealth, worrisome life.

the smoking increases your risk, but the risk is more when you're over 35. dont worry. millions of women smoke and take the pill. just make sure your doc knows so its in your file and they can moniter everything in case you start having side effects. but you should be fine. i've been on the pill about 8 years and smoking for about 3. i'm 24. i dont smoke as much as you, but still. nothing has happeneded

Best thing to do is quit the cidbits and start with the birth control. It will help your body heal and function properly.
