If she's interested, she will call you this weekend. Hope you gave her your cell #. I wouldn't sit around the house waiting.

I would say you already knew she had plans for the evening before you made plans with her, so even though it stinks that she had to cancel, it's not the end of the world. I would try to make plans with her for another time-a time when she is totally free for the evening...the nice thing is she didn't bag her friend to go on a date with a guy she might or might not end up dating for the long term. I think that speaks well of her, to tell the truth-She is loyal--a good quality in a friend AND a girlfriend.

As a young woman, I honestly think that you should call her for a normal conversation....don't speak about her changing plans....act as if it was not big deal to you...because its still early in the relationship, and you don't want to pressure her too much...let her decide for herself! But do call her, and ask how she's doing and etc...and if she doesn't mention anything about going out....ask if she has plans for the next weekend, if she says yes...then tell her that when she is free sometime, to give you a call, therefore you won't have to worry about asking her ALL the time and becoming and annoyance :)

Just give it one more shot. If she says she has plans, then dont tell her to give you a call when she can or anything like that. Just say ok and for her to have a good one.
If a girl really, really likes you she will work around her plans, and will jump at the chance to set another day. (unless she is shy)
Good luck

Let her make the plans when she calls but find some way to suggest (without openly saying so) that your schedule is open. If she is interested, she will reschedule. If not, move on.

Give her a break. She was probably just busy, and it should be a positive thing for you to see that she puts priority on her friends, instead of ditching them for some cute guy. Pursue her, though, don't let her slip away, just because your pride was a bit bruised. Don't worry, I'm sure it will work out.

Ok.. you sure she s single?? She may be using you as a buffer or may be she's just not that into you!
Find out, ask her out again. It can also be that she is playing hard to get... its a complex game that we play!
Good luck!
