I would watch him die.

I would give CPR and try to save his life.
I'm not a vengeful person and would hope that now that the guy is a little bit less than capable of running away that he would be brought to trail and spend a good part of his life in jail.
Just my opinion on what I would do.

If the roles were reversed, what would you like that person to do for you? Have mercy, and try to keep you alive? Or sit there and watch you die slowly? My guess is that you would like to be saved, as I know I would as well. He is unable to change the past and so are you. He has to live out his life knowing that he is responsible for the death of another person, would you really want that same knowledge? That in itself is worse, it is something that will never go away. Would you want that on your conscience? Because no matter how you justified it, if you were able to save the person and did nothing to help, you would be responsible for his death.

That's why there are "Good Samaritan" laws in some states--sometimes people don't do what's morally right unless there's a law telling them what to do. If he died and it turned out that you could have helped, then you could be responsible under those laws (depending on where the incident happened.)
Besides, it's not up to you to decide punishment for a criminal. What if the man was insane, or the killing was an accident? You can't decide that he deserves to die drowning in his own blood. That's cruel and unusual punishment. Justice isn't always served in this country, but that's one of the laws you have to abide by if you want to live in the US. If you don't want the justice system to try and punish criminals, you'll just have to start your own country. It's harsh and unfair sometimes, but it's just one of the things you have to do if you want to be a part of society.
Plus, I'm not a vengeful type of person. Karma can take care of that for me. I don't want to get my soul dirty by doing the wrong thing. Yeah, I'd give him CPR. I'd give anyone CPR who needed it.

You are NOT required by good samaritan laws to help an injured party. (I know this isn't the point of your question, I just wanted to correct a few of the wrong answers on here.)
Unless there is a caretaker-relationship, (you're a nurse and hes your patient, you're babysitting him, etc,) you are free to stand there and allow him to die. In the United States, there is no duty requiring you to help.

The christian thing to do would be to give the man aide and forgiveness. I dont think I would be that strong, I would look at his accident as justice for the death of my family member.

CPR. It's not as satisfying beating him into hamburger if he isn't awake to feel every punch.

I would watch him bleed, and I wouldn't run up to him, but walk slowly so I wouldn't draw attention to myself

Yes, because you Republicans have taught us that every life is valuable, and must be spared, or does this only apply to controlling other women's bodies, and not to grown people like troops in Iraq and the 90% of wrongly convicted criminals?

He would be hard for me to help, but hard for me to walk away from. Good question, I hope I'm never in that situation.

If you're CPR certified, you MUST try to revive him, you don't get to be like "hmm, let me weigh out my options."
Yes I would because I don't want to be responsible for his death and I want him to have to suffer the consequences in court/prison.
