I don't have a version of it but I remember it well.
It came out the summer we went to Spain for our holidays. It seemed that whatever conversations we had, the phrases would always fit in with the rhythm of the song!

Guys, the asker here isn't referring to a Deep Purple song.
Star Trekking was a particularly bad novelty song in the mid 1980's.
The video featured incredibly bad plasticine animated models of the enterprize crew singing the song.
It was quite amazingly awfull, and the mind boggles as to why anyone would want to own a copy.
I thought there was an international treaty a few years ago, wherby all developed civilisations agreed to destroy all remaining copies of the song permanently.
Or was that just a lovely dream I had once?

Oh yes!! There's Klingons on the starbaord bough - It's life Jim but not as we know it - It's worse than that he's dead Jim - We come in peace shoot to kill - You canny change the laws of physics - etc. You can probably buy a 7 inch single on e-bay or download it on some mad site! Good luck!

I love that song - I've only got it via Doctor Demento - but it's fairly easy to obtain that way. It's on his 20th anniversery cd. I wouldn't know how to tell you to find the 7" version.
Best of luck with that.
