Hi,
right now I have an acoustic guitar and I want to upgrade to an electric guitar. I have a Guitar Processor that I have been using with an electric guitar with pickup.. I thought that I could play that funky guitar stuff on the acoustic guitar.. It doesnt sound that good..
Should I buy a first hand one or second hand electric guitar.. My budget is Rs 3000. There are some givson guitars available for that amount (first hand).. My question is
1. Should I go for a 1st hand or second hand electric guitar
2. If I should go for a second hand one.. where should I look for it?

Go second hand with an electric. I bought a nice Fender Strat for about $150 second hand. The best place to find second hand guitars are pawn shops. For your first electric you don't need a new guitar. It will take a little time to adjust from the acoustic to the electric because the neck width of an electric is usually smaller. But, definitely go second hand. Good luck.

Try Casio shop in Mota's Arcade on Brigade Road or National Market, Burma bazar in Gandhinagar area.
