Second question first - N O !!!!!!
It is part of the Masonic group. It is open to mother's, wives, sisters and daughters of, as well as, any mason.
Being a male member of it I can speak with inside knowledge.
It is a quasi-religios group- but not any one regilion. It does require a belief in a higher power ( God-by any name)
It does recognize all of them as being worthy and to be honored.
