I love that show. All the seasons are on DVD. The first 8 are in black and white and the last two are in color. There are so many episodes a few hundred. Heres some more info on Combat on the links....

the main obtrusive is that each block is likewise a strike in 'perplexing' martial arts including Karate. I genuinely have additionally heard of it too in chinese language martial arts and the thought there is diverse. on the same time as that is not any longer specific to any chinese language martial artwork kind it quite is a skill all via itself it quite is knowledgeable in simple terms such as you may prepare a kind. The technique is such that as a punch is available interior the strike is met (no longer gained on condition that there's a forward action into the punch) in one among those vogue that it counters the technique. This takes conditioning and timing to tug off properly yet I genuinely have seen human beings injure their very own wrists, elbows or shoulders from one among those technique. there become a youtube video in this yet i'm able to't discover it. Being additionally an Aikijutsu practitioner i do no longer accept as true with that assertion however. Any strike will separate you out of your opponent which might make it perplexing to coach any wrist locks or arm bars. So types with their considerable concentration on such innovations would not benefit a great deal from this.

Combat; a U.S. T.V. drama, is aired on NHK Japan (BS2) every night from midnight until almost one o'clock. It's quite good though, about a group of American soldiers in Europe and all kinds of problems they face as they venture forth.
Although out-dated, it still holds interest and I wouldn't be surprised if "24" was influenced by it.
My American friends here remember it fondly from from their childhood ...
"Rawhide" was aired before "Combat" ... also a big blast from the past for some. Except BS2 showed repeats and repeats endlessly ... oh well. Everyone knows they are in financial difficulties ...
They also are doing the "I Love Lucy" and "Bewitched" series now ...
If you like these old programmes, come to Japan! They import them to ease the trade deficit and don't seem to care what the topic is!

Combat was seen on TV in the 60's. Vic Morrow starred as Sgt. Chip Saunders. He was killed in a freak accident in 1982, while filming Twilight Zone: The Movie

Yep I use to watch it as a kid, I still remember how the title music goes, and Chuck Conners was I think the main star of the programme.

Yeah, great program too! Lots of actors and actresses got their debuts on it. I'm sure you remember The Rat Patrol as well then.
