Absolutely. Look at PQDVD.COM - free demo of their software. I can put multiple movies on an SD card and watch them on my Treo phone - I do it whenever I travel.

Sure it is possible. Now look at the numbers. How big is the average movie and how big is your sd card? quite a difference isn't it? The movie has to be shrunk which means loss of both video and sound quality. If you can put up with that, go for it.

Yes, you can. Convertors such as SmartMovie convertor or 5Star Movie convertors can convert a 600MB file into 60MB file for playback on handheld/Mobile-phones. The files are small enough to be put on SDCards that typically come by default with phones/handhelds.

Dont expect to play these heavily compressed files on the PC and see great visual quality though.

depends how big the SD card is. probably if you have a 1g i have put two on a 1g once. but they were really low quality.
