Ummmm, hello?? How many games into the season are we....5 or 6? Lindros has a lonnnnngg history of starting strong only to get hurt and be out a ton of games. Talk to me about Lindros at the end of the year and let's see if he is still producing.

My honest opinion is that I liked Lindros when he was on the Flyers and he teamed up with Micheal Renberg and John LeClair, but as soon as Renberg left he was doing crappy. He always got injured and turned over the puck and the final straw was when he got checked really hard by a Devil. Now I respect the man for put his body in harms way but I dont respect that he always gave up when they were loosing. When he was traded he all of a sudden he was getting better and scoring goals. So I say screw him we didn't need him and never will.

i really dont like eric lindros. I dont belive hom to be too old, but to fargile, he should change his gameplay to a more scoring focus, rather than the grinder he has been his career. He can put points on the board and can play. But with any luck around december/january he'll get injured and be forced to finally retire and allow some of the other younger talet move up.

I think the complaints have had less to do with his age, and more to do with his being prone to injury. Sure, he's looked good early, but will he hold up all season?
I think this question would make a lot more sense if Lindros had played more than three games to this point in the season.

ALL THE EXPERTS... say that billy guerin and jason arnott were the building blocks for the stars.
true that they may be a sad lost.
but Eric has the body of Jason, and the quick release wrist shot of Billy..
he's a perfect fit.

Lindros kicks @$$. He has more people on his team that will stick up for him. and the other teams know not to mess with him or they will just get whipped

I certainly don't agree that he's too old. He is obviously injury prone. But when he plays, and is not afraid of getting hit, he has always been effective.

He has definitely showed that he could play in the N.H.L. but hasn't reached his total potential due to injuries!
