I'm receiving up to 50 mails a day from a U.S based company offering financial services. They use a different sender name on each mail. The web link in the mail goes to a site which offers only a form to be filled in. There is no way of opting out of mails. What can I do to stop this? Outlook express filters the messages out as Spam mail but ideally I'd like to stop them altogether. My incoming mail is currently 97% Spam, and it's all from the one company!
Help!!

Sounds like you need a filter before they arrive in your Outlook box.

1. Some ISPs can filter for spam before they arrive in your inbox. Check if you ISP has this facility and turn it on if it's there.

2. If not - I've found a way of using 2 email addresses and a Google or Yahoo mail account. Use one email address as the one you give out (or the one that's causing you the junk mail. If you can make this email into a forwarder - set it to forward to a Yahoo or Gmail account. They will filter your mail for you. If you set the Yahoo or Gmail account to forward back to a second email account (that nobody knows about and you have never ever used) - then you've got a pre-filter.
Yahoo and Gmail take out a lot of spam.

I had the same problem from a company using different sender names. All I did was to block their addresses every time I received one then slightly increased my privacy settings and hey presto no more spam from that company and it also stopped a few others.

In the options of your Outlook mail, select to not even download the messages from the server.

Never, ever reply to spam, not even to "opt out" as that only tells the spammer that he has a good address. Use blocking software if it is not part of your ISP's package. Keep reporting it as spam to your ISP, it will slow down eventually.

You can't. Once on their list(s) you are going to get spam.

Pay for Yahoo Mail Plus and use the AddressGard option. It is explained in the Yahoo Email site.

You can file a complaint at the sherrifs office, continued harrassment is a crime. Or you could take the civil route and sue em.

Block their email address. I know both hotmail and yahoo are able to block e-mails of your choice.
