Yes but why? You can reformat you hard drive that would delete everything.

format the hard drive - but that would erase EVERYTHING, not just the OS.

Start the computer in DOS Prompt (the black screen with the "C:\>" prompt, and when you see that prompt, type "Format C:" (with out the quotes, of course), and press enter. It will give you a warning that you will erase everything from your hard drive, and type "y" to accept it, then press enter. Your HD is cleaned.

yes put in the windows xp.cd then close off the menu that load up then retart the pc then as it is starting up when you see it say on screen press any key to boot from cd rom then hit enter then hit enter again

Why would you want too? and yes there is...best advice i can give you, because I don't know what type of PC you have, is to go to microsofts web site, and get help there.

yeah, format the drive its on ... or you can edit your boot.ini so it doesnt show up depending on what you have there .. multiboot or whatever..
