Does anyone share my thoughts? I am christian, avid bible reader.
I see two creations.in the first God makes males and females in his likeness and fills the earth, gives them dominion over every thing on earth.Later God finds there is not a man to till the soil then he makes Adam, when Cain gets sent to nod he begs God,saying everyman who sees me will kill me,so God places a protective mark on him, thus proof, there were other people, and we are not decendants of Adam and Eve.I do want the ape theory,it is full of holes.if we evolved from apes then apes would be gone. I have many
thoughts, one ,only blacks can get sickle cell anemia.we all have different genetic makeup.

Well, I'm a devout Christian too. I had the same problem when I was studying evolution last year. You say that God had made other people, but that's not what the Bible says, it says that there were giants living in the land (and one of whom married Cain). I am also confused about the giants and others, but we know that the Bible is true-it is 'God breathed and God inspired'. People say that it has been written and hence, modified by men but that's not true. Science also has holes. Like you said, how come apes havn't disappeared even though we evolved from them when all the intermediate species (Paranthrapus, Astralopithicens, Homo Habilis, Homo Neanderthals...) have died out. And how in the world could bacteria have formed just from the spontaneous production of amino acids in the 'primitive atmosphere'. And how come our cell organelles (said to be evolved from smaller bacteria 'eaten' by bigger bacteria) are different from that of bacteria. These are not true cause these are just theories and not the actual truth. Even Darwin said it was just a theory, only people nowadays think it's true.

Ok, I don't see how you can be an avid bible reader, and yet "see" two creations. Its just not written in there, Its so clear. Yes , there are parts of geneologies that are not written, and so since the genetics were pure at the start of creation, we realize that siblings married and started new generations. People lived for a very long time in the pre-flood era, and so when cain is a grown man, there are also probably many other offspring which are not mentioned and who were beginning to populate. I don't even understand why you need to believe that we are not decendents of Adam and Eve. Yes over time, the gene pools were made more diverse and then after Babel, when nations were scattered, only the people who spoke the same tongues stayed together, and procreated only with each other, which narrowed the gene pool for that race, and dominant features emerged. There is not question that different races have different genetic make-up, but there is no need to "change" what the bible says to understand it. You should get a good study commentary on Genesis, which explains it far better than I can, but I have also studied it, and even though its been awhile, I never had a question about its truth.

Think of it this way. In Geneses it tells there was darkness on the face of the deep. That means no sun to tell what a 24 hour day was. Also the Bible tells us that one day is like a thousand years to God. We have no idea what a day is in the time of God. It could be a billion years since he is infinite. So evolution is possible. God could have made everything in a billion years. But it was still he who did it. The other people that were here could have been a product of evolution.
Example: The Neanderthal man had a different DNA than the cromagnun and homosapians. So they couldn't reproduce with other people and so died out.
Just remember we can't completely understand God's plan or what he has done or how. We just need to remember he is the one that did it.

You have to remember that the first books of the Bible were written by Moses. He recounts the creation as it had been passed down over the generations. Although I believe it to be true and accurate, it never says that God didn't create other people besides Adam and Eve. I believe he did create more people. I agree that man did not come from ape, for the same reason as you, why are there still apes? It doesn't make sense. I'm sure, in his infinite wisdom, there is a reason why each race has their own specific genetic disorders.

Not sure I can concur there - specifically in the last part.

This is one of those things that we have no other writings about. For whatever reason, God chose not to expound on what Cain said about other people. It is not clear whether he was looking to a population that was beginning to burgeon as Adam and his offspring continued to reproduce (they were living to be 800 and 900 years old in his day) or whether there were other people existing outside of the garden where Adam was formed and received the breath of God to become a living soul.

The only thing I can add is this thought: As Christians, do we not have enough on our plates just giving heed to the things in the Word of God that are very apparent? If we are walking perfectly in these things, then it stands to reason that we have a little more time to spend with God so that He can choose to reveal these secrets in the Secret Place of the Most High if He so chooses.

EDIT: Just one of the can of worms we can get into regarding other "people" outside the garden at the time of the creating of Adam is when we get over into Genesis 6, verse 4 where it talks about sons of God reproducing with the daughters of men. I don't know if sons of God is the same thing there as it is in Job 1 verse 6. I would have to do a Hebrew word study on it to be sure. And, assuming sons of God means the angelic and/or demonic beings, then we get into the thing of how long had this kind of reproduction been going on, etc.

Whatever the case of that may be, it was all destroyed in the flood.

Well, no... other races get sickle cell, too. Mediterranean, mostly. Wrote a research paper on it once.

There's a group of people who believe that Cain was actually the first of a race of vampires. Can't remember who the group is, though.

Why would our ancestors be gone? There are people being born without wisdom teeth, now; why are there still people who have too many teeth being born? Why are there still people being born with an appendix and a tailbone? Because it takes millions of years for the adaptive mutants to become the majority, that's why. And it'll be much longer now that we've got medicine; people won't die from inflamed wisdom teeth, now.

Plus, humans are very protective of endangered animals. I doubt apes will ever die off. We won't let them.

If you ever read about simian researchers, it's amazing how closely the various monkeys are related to us. They can speak with sign language, think with analogies, feel emotion, and name things... We share 98% of the same DNA of chimps, for one.

Let me be perfectly honest.
You need to read the Bible more avidly than you say because you have the details of the creation somewhat muddled. Really!

The reason God placed Adam in a deep sleep and removed a rib with which he made Eve was because as is stated in Genesis 1:26, "And God said, let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion...... " Then in Genesis 1:27 "So God created man in His own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them."

You see, Eve was already in Adam, part of the created man, hence the need for her to be taken out of him and become a separate body.

God never created any one thing twice. He created man, hence he had to take the woman out of the already-created man. Had he created the woman in the same manner as He did Adam, then He would have been creating man twice. After creating during the six days, it says "And God rested."

Then he commanded them to "Be fruiful and multiply and replenish the earth and subdue it....."

Historically, it is found that Adam and Eve did have other children and, in those times, before the Law, marrying one's sibling was not frowned upon or to put it bluntly, it was fine!
They are the ones who began populating the land and they are the ones who Cain feared would kill him.

Rest easily! You are no ape descendant. You simply are very confused and want to understand the truth. I believe everyone does.

Yes, we all have different genetic make-up but that's perfectly normal. I don't think apes get sickle cell anemia, though.

I came from Adam and Eve. Anyone who wants to think they came from an ape-like man can say what they want. Man doesn't evolve into better beings. We become more like animals. Darwin said that but the Bible said it first.

As far as there being two creations, I've never heard that before. People lived to be 500 years old back then so I'm sure they had plenty of opportunity to populate the earth.

Racial differences are minor. We are all the same.

Adam and Eve hahd many many many children. And back then, marriage to your sister or brother was ok. There was no problem with that. And that is how many people came about. Remember, Adam and Eve were quite a few hundred years old. Plently of time to give birth to lots and lots of babies. Don't believe the Ape Theory. Each day it is being more and more proven wrong. Just trust in God.
