Why not do jewellery parties aswell as selling them online, just get some business cards done from vistaprint and give them out around your home town, offer the hostesses discounted goods or give her something for free if she gets a set amount of sales at her party. My friends do this with their jewellery business here in England and they are doing really well. You could also try getting into schools at their fairs in the summer and christmas.
Have you got a website yet, let me know how you get on and i will take a look, don't know where you will post out to, will you ship to England?

If it's good value, good quality and something that people will like, then I'm sure they would.
Depending on how you market it, depends on how successful you will be. It doesn't have to be anything extravagent. Why not start with something like Ebay and cut out a lot of your marketing costs and give yourself a huge audience straight away?
When you get a few orders in, word of mouth will do wonders - so then is a good time to setup a website showing your range, or samples of it.
Once that starts to be successful, then you can bite the bullet and go for the full setup and get a online shop to trade from.
Good luck, and post a link or pictures, and see where you get from there - start small and build up,.

Craft or somthing for decoration Don't take it too serious, just a thank you gift, then choose something fun and he may be use. Gifts for his son maybe a wise chioce. A huge kite, last year i gave out a kite(length 314 inches) for my nephews, i still remenber the suprise and happy expression on him.

Depending on the type of jewelry and the price. I make my own beaded jewelry, so it has to be something really special for me to want to buy it. If I can mimic it, I won't buy it.
