i know there is Platos closet but they only take teen clothing. Is there a place i can go to? i dont want to sell on the internet.

E-bay! My boss' wife buys almost all her clothes there and she always looks like a million!

Where do you live? I live in San Diego and there are a few places in the older neighborhoods that will buy gently used clothes for a few bucks. Try looking in your phone book. Keywords I found helpful were Retail Resale, Clothing Resale, Consignment. How about a garage sale...sometimes you will make a little more than if a shop were to buy your items. Last option would be to donate to thrift stores. You won't make money, but you can ask for a receipt for a tax-deductible donation to use when tax time comes around. A consignment shop, like Plato's Closet (www.platoscloset.com) is check and see if you have one near you. I've also sold some things on Ebay. I've sold some things on Ebay it's prettyeasy but they ask for some of the money you make. Either or, they are both good choices.

Definately a consignment shop. My mom owns one and its great!. Just make sure you go to one thats trustworthy. There are some out there that will rip you off. And by the way when and if you do bring your clothes in, ask what kind of security they have for trying on clothes because in the beginning my mom had peoples clothes being ripped off from customers. Consignment shops sell your clothes for you and you split the profit with them, if they dont sell they give them back to you.
