He's going to be on Oprah today and I can't wait! I don't know if people are just insecure or ignorant or both. Do research before you say anything negitive or you can post your negitive opinion-Anything negive about someone trying to do some good and is talented comes from some kind of insecurity. So ramble on all you hater-I don't see you on TV and if you were I doubt any good would come from it.

I guess negativity is a thing that has to exist.
Bono has done an excellent job. Many people do great things anonymously, both famous and not so famous. That's great. It is exceptionally great when you have celebs and local heroes like Bono and the little girl at the local elementary school that campaign for the good of others by raising awareness. Of course we all knew about Aids in Africa and other tragic stories around the world. It is often only spoken about or we are only reminded about it when stars like Bono give HIS time to help and make a difference. Until now, I have not done one single thing to help the Aids crisis in Africa until I watched CNN last night. All of the reporters did specials about it in their shows. Larry King had Bono and Shriver. They talked about the shopping spree with Bono, Oprah, Kanye,.Penelope and other celebs. That Inspi(RED) me to make a difference. I purchased (well, on back-order because it is sold out) an Inspi(RED) GAP T-shirt and a matching pair of RED Converse shoes thanks to this recent publicity. If Bono has encouraged one person to make a difference then he is definitely worthy.

I didn't know that anyone was hating on Bono. why would u want to hate such a peace activist as Bono. I think the guy rocks.

I totally agree with you. People seem to be saying that he's trying to get attention by acting the way he is... but the way I see it, he could have a LOT more attention if he were seeking it out. And as I've said on here before, U2's earliest work was very Christian-oriented. I just think he's a good man with a mission.
Now if we could just get U2 to stop marketing 50 versions of everything to bump up their profit...

I thinks Bono is great. He is using his fame and fortune to help the poor and sick of the world. I would hear about his work than about Lindsay Lohan.

yeah he is a good guy and he donates money and all that stuff...and he has a cool ipod!
sometimes to me it seems like he is overtrying to say he is a good guy, we get it he is a great guy and his work is important
