The network news (ABC, NBC, MSNBC, CNN) would have you believe that the economy is not good.

Even with all the money that goes into the war we are doing great! Personal debt has gone down. Yet there is so much that needs to be done.

After 911 the Dow went down to 7,000.

Prior to 911 web based companies were closing left and right, prior to Bush be sworn in!
I know this because I lived in Seattle WA and delivered a lot office supplies to web based companies that went belly up!

The Dow is nearing on 12,000 showing that the economy is strong and has recovered!

Unemployment is at 3.7% the lowest in history.

The Trade deficit has been CUT IN HALF 3 years ahead of scheduled.
AHEAD OF SHEDULE.

The tech industry that got US in trouble the last time for lying to investors is now moving at a decent rate! Sure those jobs don’t pay the same that they use to, but they were filled with corruption and little productivity.

Soon it will be an employees market.

President Bush said that tax cuts would help us, and help the economy. He never reduced spending but increased it in education, and military.

WHAT HAPPEN?

the news stations are all relatively liberal so they would view the economy as bad under Bush, i bet if kerry or gore were president all the facts you stated would be common knowledge

man... you are WAY messed up in your stats...

... uh... first some of what you are saying is a lie... the unemployment rate in Sept was 4.6... and the rate when Bush entered was around 4... so it's still higher than when he started..

http://www.bls.gov/ (or is the government lying to us?)

also, the previous high before about two weeks ago for the dow was also nearing 12,000 and that was in Jan. of 2000... right before Bush was inagurated... then it started going down after that...

there is the trade deficit, which set a record yesterday (on the high end)

http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20061012/ap_on_bi_go_ec_fi/economy;_ylt=Atro9Lx9l1buwkc7PdzwQU.yBhIF;_ylu=X3oDMTA0cDJlYmhvBHNlYwM-

then there is the national deficit, which did go down some, but is still much higher than it was before Bush took office... it's at like $250 billion now... still a lot of work to be done...

and I've never read he increased spending in education? in fact he f supported NCLB which was a program that was mostly unfunded and put more of a burden on many school systems to put it into place?

Wow.

How long did it take you to spin all that?

Ill be sure to print this out and show it to all the underpayed, 2 and three gig holding engineers I know.

They will be so comforted that CEO's are making alot of money.

P.S.. Credit card debt and foreclosures are at a staggering high.

Check your figures again. You're way off by a large percentage. Be sure and tell that to all the umemployed people out there now that there are jobs available it's just that you probably have to go overseas to get them......
