there is a red box shaped like a battery with wavy lines in the bottom & an arrow pointing downward it is a small illuminated symbol that appears on my dash.

the symbol is for low coolant, you should add some coolant as soon as possible, you can cause engine damage if you overheat the engine, you should also check the engine and cooling system for leaks (the level is low for a reason) one common leak is from the intake manifold gaskets so be sure to check there

It most likely means something is wrong with your electrical system. Your alternator may not be charging properly or your battery is not being charged correctly.

Take the terminals off the battery and clean them. First. Reconnect and see if the light goes off. If not you can take it to autozone and they can tell you if it's a charging problem or a battery problem.

those guys are idiots, the symbol is low coolant, the picture is the coolant resivoir, the wavy lines are water, and the arrow pointing down tells you its low. check the resevoir add if needed and get it checked soon.

i own a repair shop,and it means there may be a charging problem with it,,pr just a simple dirty or loose battery cable will cause it to do this,id have it checked out ,if you see corrosion on the battery cable you,can loosen it ,and clean it off,and it will be OK other wise have it checked out real good ,it may be an alternator going out on it,,good luck,i hope this help,s.
