Why would we want to forget about the Foley Scandal. It reminds us of the true essence of what the Republican party has become. True Machiavellians, who at whatever it takes, right or wrong, will attempt to hold onto power and blame everyone except those with their hands on the wheel. How many scandals have come out this year along; forget about the other 5 years. The Republican Party is bankrupted when it comes to morals, and ethics. That's the reason, many people including Faith Base voters are distancing themselves.

I'm a Republican. And No, we shouldn't forget it at all. And we should prosecute Foley if there are proofs of violation of law. And we should be wary of how certain dem organizations seemed to know all about it well in advance, and didn't report it at all. And we should be mindful of "exactly what people knew and when they knew it".

"the right" isn't hiding anything. Foley is gone. unlike a certain President who was supported by his whole party when he did something far worse. you're living in a glasshouse, quit throwing stones

politicians should be held responsible for their actions during their office hours - as they are working for those who elected them - with trust that those hours would be invested in the betterment of the state/country

No, just keep bringing it up over and over, ad nauseum. It isn't going to make a lot of difference. You still ain't gettin' the House or the Senate.
