Do I start Dunn or Gore?

Question

I am starting Larry Johnson, thats a no-brainer. But, I have Warrick Dunn and Frank Gore to choose from for #2. I know Dunn is a workhorse, but he never finds the endzone. On the other hand Gore has been a stud, but the SD defense is solid. Any ideas? I am leaning towards Gore...

I'm having the same problem. I'll be starting Dunn over Gore though. I have a feeling SD will run up the score, much like KC did on them this year. Gore's stats fell off considerably when they fall behind. The Giants can be run on, especially on the outside. And Jerious Norwood is questionable. So Dunn will get more carries in what should be a close game. I'm going with Dunn here

Dunn. San Diego's D is just too good (Ranked #1 in the league against the run) to start Gore. Dunn will get more yards than Gore, but they may be even on TD's. I would go with the leagues top rushing Offense and start Dunn.

you must be mad, dunn is facing a D that has been giving up the run, Gore is playing the team that just beat the steelers

That is if LJ is playing, he may have more limited involvment, especially if the score gets high

I think you still have to go with Gore here....

remember hes not only a RB but hes also catching balls out of the backfield

SD will be tough on him... dont expect too much

Dunn....SD defense is too damn tuff. I wouldn't really start any top back against that defense unless I had no other options.

I'd go with Gore because he's been awesome this year and he's progressing everyday.
