Dont ignore it! If you have thryoid problems you have to stay on the proper medicine. Especially when you are pregnant. I have thyroid problems and they had to double my dosage of synthroid while i was pregnant. Having thyroid problems is never something to take lightly. I think the only test they can do is a tsh level test while you are pregnant. As long as you stay on your proper meds and get it tested monthly everything will be ok. But if you ignore it then your prgnancy can be more complicated as far as how you feel during the pregnancy. You have to remember that your thyroid regulates every organ in your body and if you dont take care of it then your whole body is going to be thrown off kelter. I felt horrible through out my pregnancy and it was partly because my doctor could not get my thyroid regulated. Finally after getting it regulated i felt a thousand times better.

When I was on thyroid medicine it did not effect my preg. The doctor just made sure he checked my levels. I think every time I went for Baby bloodwork, my doc also checked my thyroid levels. Don't ignore it if you know you have a problem. That would be bad for you and possibly the baby.

I had being pregnant brought about hyperthyroidism interior the direction of the 1st 2 trimesters of all 3 of my pregnancies, i become instructed that, maximum probable, issues will bypass any incorrect way approximately 6 weeks after being pregnant because of the fact of my hormone stages. None of my toddlers have been affected, they have been of regular weight and length with commonly functioning thyroids themselves. If her thyroid is in simple terms affected in the time of being pregnant, it quite is surprisingly worry-unfastened, and he or she'll be monitored in many cases in the time of her being pregnant to make optimistic that the hormone stages won't bypass to severe or low. in the event that they do, she'll be positioned on toddler risk-free meds till she provides you to make optimistic that the two considered one of them are high-quality.

This one is for your doctor . Make sure you call your doctor and tell the doctor of your problem, if you have not said any thing, because last time you forgot to discuss. Write down all the question and discuss them with your doctor.

I'm not sure what will happen, but don't ignore it if you are pregnant. The doctor can monitor it for you through blood tests. they can also put you on meds.

My doctor has told me that we will continually check, and probably have to periodically increase the dosage of my synthroid, as I gain weight.
