Usually in the kitchen when there's washing up to be done, sugar and tea stains on side when making a cup of tea, wet towels on the bathroom floor, socks at side of bed, full ash trays. Is there a scientific reason behind this?

Yes it's called "amanthingology"....goes along with selective hearing, scratching and key misplacing.

Yes, in fact I did ask a similar question the other day in the men's health section....It wasn't eyesight so much as muscle spasms that prevent them from getting off the couch or putting the romote down. I was also wondering if there was some chemical imbalance that causes their eyes to glaze over in the middle of conversations:)

Its not selective blindness, he's lazy, just like most men are about house work, why should he pick it up or clean it up when he knows of he doesn't do it you will? Now, there is selective hearing, you usually start noticing that after you've been married a couple of years....lol

Yes why, is the big question. But also how, I wish I could learn to be selective deaf-blind-lame. Maybe there is a man out there who wants to teach me/us? It sure would come in handy!

believe it or not, when my husbands home, he will wash the kids while i cook, he'll wash dishes for me sometimes about 2 to 3times a week. he does alot of stuff around the house, but i think its because we both enjoy a clean enviroment.
