Pluto on 8/24 was kicked off from our solar system as PLANET!!
It has been know as a planet for the last 70 years.

They have created a new category: Dwarf planets and Pluto is now on it. The decision was made at an assembly of the International Astronomical Union (IAU).

The eight planets are Mercury, Earth, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus and Neptune

Pluto, designated (134340) Pluto or 134340 Pluto in the Minor Planet Center catalogue, is the second-largest dwarf planet in the solar system. It orbits between 29 and 49 AU from the Sun, and was the first Kuiper Belt Object to be discovered. Approximately one-fifth the mass of the Earth's Moon, Pluto is primarily composed of rock and ice. It has an eccentric orbit that is highly inclined with respect to the planets and takes it closer to the Sun than Neptune during a portion of its orbit. Pluto and its largest satellite, Charon, have often been considered a binary system because they are more nearly equal in size than any of the other known planetoid/moon combinations in the solar system, and because the barycentre of their orbits does not lie within either body. However, the International Astronomical Union (IAU) has yet to formalize a definition for binary dwarf planet, therefore Charon is regarded as a moon of Pluto for now. Two smaller moons, Nix and Hydra, were discovered in 2005. Pluto is smaller than several of the natural satellites or moons in our solar system.

From its discovery by Clyde Tombaugh in 1930, Pluto was considered the ninth planet from the Sun. In the late 20th and early 21st century, many similar objects were discovered in the outer solar system, most notably the Trans-Neptunian object Eris which is slightly larger than Pluto. In August 2006 the IAU redefined the term "planet", and classified Pluto, Ceres, and Eris as dwarf planets. Pluto is also classified as the prototype of a family of trans-Neptunian objects. After the reclassification, Pluto was added to the list of minor planets and given the number 134340.

Yes it's kicked out of the Solar System .It's no more considered a planet. But there's TRIVIA:-Pluto was the Greek God of the Underworld.N the underlying messge is that sooner or later the Evil lose the Game.!

Pluto is said to b too small to be called a planet.

Pluto remains where it had to be right now. Nobody from Planet Earth have the capability right now to kick a heavenly body out of whack.

The only change is the Planet Pluto has been downgraded. As if the Pluto really cared !

no, it wasn't *kicked* out of the solar system, it isn't classified as a planet anymore. They consider it a dwarf planet because there are dozens of other dwarf planets like Pluto, same mass and size that should also be considered planets if Pluto is one. So, instead, they *crowned* Pluto King of the Dwarf Planets

I have answered this see if I can give you same answer.

Be back.

Initially Pluto was considered a Daft planet

Few years ago a museum in New York city, NY, USA, had questioned the right to call Pluto a planet.

Recently The Astronomical society vote to down grade Pluto the status to two Daft planets (Charon and Xena).

There is immediate movement to restore Pluto status to planet again.

No, its still a part of the solar system, but it got demoted from a planet to a planetoid or something less than a planet.

There are only 8 planets as of now in the solar system.

there became a matching question that became published earlier on yet in answer on your question, Astrology will no longer be able to be based on Scientists' definition of astronomical words because of the fact in the event that they have been to 'demote' different planets' status, then Astrology as a concern may be in severe hassle! besides, without Pluto, the planet of regeneration, transformation, our skill to reinvent ourselevs and our subconsious drives & adjustments, we'd be walking around as emotional rubbish cans with lots of pent up frustrations and issues! Pluto will and continuously be contemporary and have an energetic function in classic astrology as the place else do we get the inducement and suggestion to rejuvenate, end concerns/circumstances that are to our very own detriments and initiate up profound new ones? and to no longer point out that Scorpios is merely no longer that plenty Scorpion anymore if their substantial ruling planet is wiped out of the device!
