IF the smaller earth is in the same distance to the sun:
Please note: Some of the following answers may not relate to each other.
1: Less overall population
2: History will be different with less wars and poverty
3: Geographical land makeup would be different.
4: The dinosaurs may still exist today because the asteroid would have missed the smaller earth
5: We might not exist due to the dinosaurs that may roam the earth
6: organisms may be of alien form
7: Colder climates
8: The moon might be further away due to the earth's weaker gravity
9: The earth's oceans may not have tides as strong as it is today
10: More land than ocean on Earth
11: The smaller earth might suffer less pollution
12: Global warming would be uncommon
13: Ice Ages will arrive but not as frequent
14: Less earthquakes and volcanoes
15: There would be less Marine species
16: The speed of the earth's rotation might be slower
17: Longer days and nights
18: We would be younger due to longer days and nights
19: We would weigh less
20: If the moon is still around, then the rotation of the earth will be slower due to strong tidal breaking
I couldn't think of any more!

If the orbit of Earth were 95% the distance from Earth to Sun than it is today:
1.- Assuming a circular orbit, the current mean distance (149.5 millions of kilometers) from Earth to Sun will be 142 millions.
2.- The Year duration would be 347 days instead of (hot days will be hotter (Earth is closer to Sun)
3.- Total solar eclipses will never ocurr
4.-We have to change the Christian calendars around the Occidental World
5.- Maybe there would not be frozen Polar regions in Earth
6.- Less available water
7.- More desertic regions
8.- Another plant species on Earth
9.- Another animal species on Earth
10.- Hotter summers
11.- A more intense Greenhouse effect
12.- Maybe we were living underwater
13.- There would be more violent hurricanes
14.- There would be more droughts
15.- Maybe no food availability on the Earth's surface
16.- Maybe just aquatic supply food
17.- Maybe we will need special equipment for walking on emerged lands.
18.- We will see a bigger Sun
19.- Sunlight would travel in 7 minutes 53 seconds instead of currently 8 minutes 18 seconds
20.- If we could survive on Earth surface we may have evoluted as creatures for living in deserts (as camels do for example)
21.- If we could live technologically as in present day we may need more conditioning air everywhere
22.- We would be passive beings in order to save water.
23.- More people would be living near the Poles instead of the Equator.
24.- We could use more solar energy to survive instead of carbon energy (oil for example)
25.- At 5% nearer to the Sun not necessarily we will die according to current theories of habitability zones proposed by Morrison and Drake (1959-1961) but our aspect and way of life will be definitively altered.
Good luck!

Massive changes, including possibly no life (as we know it) would exist. Being closer to the sun would mean most likely a greater gravity, more heat, more violent weather, and possibly a different atmosphere.
