What would you call it, and what would it do?

It would smack people in the fore head, whenever they started acting stupid. I would call it the Smack-o-lator.

I'm going to conduct a pre-emptive war, smack.

I'm going to say that Israel has no right to exist, smack.

Instant Messaging a teenage boy is a good idea, smack.

I'm going to give my wife a bowling ball for her birthday, smack.

Hopefully, this would make the people think twice before making a stupid decision, or if they don't rethink at least we wouldn't trust them because they would have big pink marks on their fore heads.

If I had just invented a device that could change the world it would enable people to utilize principles in order to promote the greatest good instead of living simply by the societal laws. My interpretation of the immense immorality is the influence of society to merely follow the norms instead of thinking and deciding for themselves. I am very much a Utopian thinker. I see good in everyone and believe that some have developed their potential more than others. I would call this device a teacher. No not a government controlled or societal controlled person of education but a really caring, involved thought provoking, dedicated and influential teacher.

I'd invent a device that would allow a person to see all sides of an issue. By seeing all sides of an issue, it would also look at the underlying factors of why people see the issue from that perspective.

I believe that if you and I and our "enemies" could see the other person's reasons for what they do, a lot of our wars, etc would be resolved.

What would I call it?

Mocassins (walk a mile in the other person's mocassins).

Fun question! I think it would be helpful if each of us could view the effects of our actions, past, present and future in order to make better choices and act with more wisdom. We're quite limited in our perspectives from this vantage point of being in the forest of trees. If the device could take one into a wider vision (and this includes countries too, not just individual people) we could peer into the future and know if our actions are harmful or detrimental to the whole.

A name for it might be CEE (pronounced SEE) standing for Cause & Effect Environment or CEEM, Cause & Effect for the Environment of Mankind.

I would make it rain wherever it would be needed, in the amount that I specified. Do you realize how fast the world's hunger would be solved? I'd go to Ethiopia and Somalia, first thing.

And I'd move into an undisclosed location so the military or corporations couldn't find and exploit my rain-making device for their own greedy purposes.

It is called a book and it would change people's vision of the world form ownership to belonging to the world.

Wait. That's already been done.

The hard part is to get people to use it.

It would make everyone able to think logically so that people couldn't be swayed into making a bad decision because of their feelings.

I'd call it The Peacemaker.

A devise is what has caused all this in the first place. Look we sitting her in our rooms and in our office in ice a lation sitting in front of this devise. We should be like birds and flying together.
Imagine that!

It already exists, but people refuse to believe it. The Word of God.
If people would follow the teachings of Jesus, there would be greater peace.

I would call it the "Bum Buster." It would eliminate all bums and crackheads off the streets.
