I worked for a company like that!! It was sooooo stupid - let's work extra hours so you have to take longer breaks and then have to work extra hours to get the work done. Unfortunately, YES then can do that. Stupid, but legal.
Have you seen the commercial where the guy is working with a bunch of monkies?? THAT was my old work company. Except they were 'donkeys'.

There are quite a exceptional form of solutions to this, the apparent one (secure females!!!) could be "if it have been a guy's interest to breastfeed toddler....?" besides - from what I examine - i don't think of it quite is acceptable that she has to bypass abode and take day out. different jobs, honest adequate - however the Police have a needed place. working beyond conventional time to make up the hours is a sprint distinctive, in my interest in IT i can make a difference with each hour spent at my computing gadget, along with her it has a hell of plenty greater effect on the streets. i know the Police have place of work work, comments to do etc., which could make up the time - yet i think of the NSW PD are soliciting for worry whilst they could desire to grant for a mom and toddler. 2 questions i could opt for to pose are a million) Why can not she exhibit and keep her milk? My spouse did, and that i become reachable to feed our boy whilst required (3 a.m!) and 2) Is somebody bringing toddler to the station, or is he/she there all day? (and all the different themes that flatter that).

they can keep you from working over 40, but if they are getting stupid like that i would look for another job and tell them either you work normal hours or you will have to quit .. or find another excuse why you need to work your normal scheduled hours and leave at a certain time ... just be cool about it and dont let them push you around and manipulate you ... i wouldnt put up with getting 8 hours in a day and being there from 6am until 8pm at night every day no ...6-3 at the most, after that i have to leave because ...(insert excuse).

What do you mean take away overtime?
They can tell you not to work overtime.
If you work overtime, they have to pay you for it.
