Spooky Ghost Stories?

Does anyone have any really spooky ghost stories. they don't have to be real just very scary?

(True Story) About 3 years ago, (during my sophmore year) I was at my house, it was an evening, my parents were not there (they had gone to church) and I was at my house by myself. I was doing homework in my room, It was completely silent since no one was there, I had my room door open and you could see the hallway, I glanced and I thought i saw someone pass by (kind of like a figure or a shadow)... I just thought, okay no more distsractions, just my imagination. A few minutes later I went into my brothers room to get the stapler. So I just went in, tried looking for it, when out of nowhere I just feel cold and I felt goosebumps. I felt like someone had just passed by me (Like the type of feeling when someone passes by you, and you feel like their presence) So, i just ran back to my room, I was so scared! For a minute I even thought that maybe someone had broken in into the house, like I didn't think it was something paranormal, I just thought "crap! someone's inside!" What was it? I'm not sure, let's just say I didn't go back into my brother's room until my parents got home.

(True Story) Also, one time my brother, his girlfriend and I were watching a scary movie in the living room, the phone in the living room rings, but the weird part was that it was the only phone that was ringing, we have other phones around the house (my room, kitchen, brother's room) (they all worked fine) and the only phone that rang was the one in the living room. We were just freaked out, we didn't even answer it.

(True Story) When I was little (5 or 6 I think), my parents said I was sleep walking late at night, and that I somehow got outside and I was walking outside around the house. My parents saw me from their room and my mom went outside to get me, she said the I told her that I was following "my dad". My mom said that I kept on insisting that "my dad" was outside, but in reality my dad was inside, still in bed. Both my parents were asleep when I got outside, they heard noices from outside and thats when they saw me pass by through their window.I actually don't remember doing that at all! Up to this date, my mom and my brother sometimes still ask me who I was following, but I honestly don't remember nothing.

At my grandmother's home in Mexico, it's a two story home and my grandmother said she saw a figure of a woman, dressed in nurse attire walking down the stairs!

My dad told me that when he was younger, he had gone to a party that was close to my grandmother's house. It was already late when he left the party, and since it was close to the house he just went walking, so he's walking down the street and he sees this old lady outside putting up clothes in the hanger (the hanger type that you put outside so the clothes can dry outside) So my dad's wondering why would an old woman be doing that so late at night, so he rushes by and he turns around and he doesn't see her again ("she disappeard")

(True Story) Sometimes my cats would stare at the walls for no particular reason or they would start meowing at the walls, there was even a time when I was outside and I saw two of my cats starring at the back wall of the house at the same time, there was nothing in particular in the wall, just like any typical wall. I have no idea what they were really seeing, only they know =)

When I was 4, my mom invited her friend's mom to stay in our home. She kept an ancient scroll that she did not tell us about. One day, I just got dropped off by my friend's parent, after staying the weekend, my mom was across the street and told me to cross, then she said stop, then she said cross... as I did I almost got hit by a car... A few nights later my mom and I were about to pray right before sleep, and for some reason I felt a presence in the room and looked up, and the vacuum cleaner started shaking violently... I ducked behind my mom and she dove under some sheets... and we just stayed there too afraid to move. My mom found out about the scroll the next day, and the lady said that she, too, had seen some weird things... ...I think that was a turning point in my life, because I have never been able to live a normal life. I'm anti-social, people act strange around me, and I can't seem to find success in anything. Once they take notice of you, they bother you for your whole life. I'll probably meet a tragic, but famous end. I'm 26 and have never been on a date. Friendships end mysteriously and dramatically. Everwhere I turn I'm forced to view things that anger or upset me. It's them.

This is a real ghost story.

Once, while working in the kitchen at a camp, the other employee and I were lining bread baskets for buns and had taken a roll of paper towel off the rack. When we went to return it, there was already one on there. No one had come into the kitchen and the two of us had been standing side by side the entire time.

I don't know if this will be spooky to anyone else, but it spooks me out. Sometimes when I'm in my kitchen, I hear "someone" walking down the stairs and into the kitchen. I used to think it was someone in my family, but when I turn around, no one's there. It's also happened when no one was home.

I used to feel "someone" place a hand on my upper back. It's happened while I was changing my daughter's diaper, cleaning, and just sitting on the floor watching t.v.

I have one...i live in san diego and i was in the whaley house (its a really old house thats now a museum, some say its the most haunted house in america), we were standing by a room that is roped off so no one can go into it and i was telling him about how part of the house was used as a court house and they used to hang people there, it was pretty late at night and the place was about to close so it was practically empty and all of the sudden i hear this loud thud from inside the roped off room like someone had hit the wall. there was no one around us and nothing had fell or anything like that. i ran out of there so fast!

an old work colleague of mine said that she woke up one night and saw a figure sitting at the bottom of her bed. then she said that she felt a hand around her neck and thought that she was being strangled. then it just suddenly stopped and the figure dissappeared! it scared her that much that she decided to move house.
