We are outside for a minimum of 4 hours, other than that I will admit that the T.V. is on but if I can get one of the 3 two year old children I have, to watch something for 15 minutes I would be ecstatic.

Only if you let them watch too much tv.
The parents are the only ones that can regulate how much tv they watch.
I find many parents and caregivers use tv as a babysitter so they can do what they feel needs to be done around the house or to have time for themselves.
Not a good thing but it is their children.

I believe some children watch too much tv but others don't. I personally prefer the computer but there are some shows that I can't go without watching.

Absolutely! For the past few years parents have let the television become their babysitter. Also, kids whose parents both work are left to do for themselves and that usually includes watching television with no restrictions on what they watch or how long they watch it. This is why there are more overweight children now than there were in years past.
