just so you ca n argue with that person and prove that you are right? I do all the time. I've been told I should be a lawyer :-)

If you ask a controversial question, you know you are going to get people who disagree, its not hoping called hoping. and I do it all the time.

Actually, someone who disagrees may have info you have not yet considered. I always seek disagreement to make sure I have as many facts as possible before I proceed with a decision.

Not in real life because people tend to talk over me... but yeah, online I do. I've been told the same... I've also been told that I'd make a fine therapist.

It should be called CVS (Contrary View Syndrome). It drives teachers nuts, dunnit? Tee hee. If they ask stupid questions, give clever answers. They lose their train of thought. And have you noticed how it gets you grounded?
