It’s a sad day today.
I am playing online poker as normal but there are no Americans to be seen. What is detail of the new law that’s been passed banning Americans from using overseas Internet sites? It really sucks. We miss you guys. Land of the Free??? Not any more.

There has to be away around this BS.

I've done a full article reviewing the details of the so-called "Internet Gambling Ban". The page includes a link to all sites allowing American players.

There IS no ban! The Act Bush signed changes nothing. DON'T PANIC!!

Basically the site you are playing on has banned US players because of this legislation. Since the law doesn't make playing illegal some sites still allow US players. If you want to play against Americans you can find a number of sites on this list http://www.ultimatepokerbankroll.com/article.php/internet-gambling-ban-poker-sites-status still allowing Americans, or the statement of your network as to why they banned Americans.
