I have this problem,there is this boy in my class room and i havnt known him that long,but anyway hes startin to like me and i dont feel the same way about him,i just want to be friends,cause i only get the friend vibe from him,i guess its cause im too nice and i dont like hurting people,so what would be a good way to do about this? please help.Thank you.

well i think if it was me I'd be afraid I'd make a fool of myself and be misinterpreting the situation. It may be that he wants to be friends and isn't real sure how to let you know. It could also be that you hang with a girl he wants to get to know. Anyway treat him as a friend and nothing more and i think he'll get the picture.

Tell him now or you might have to deal with the "You are a tease crap later" or with really hurt feelings from him. Don't even try to be too nice. Just say what you feel with out beating around the bush. let him decide if he can handle only being friends and that you are not being coy just telling the truth.

Well do you know for sure he likes you? If you do I would write him a letter if you dont want to feel like your being mean and just tell him how you feel and tell him you would love to stay friends but right now is not the time you feel like you two can take ur relationship further. And who knows maybe your feelings will change with time.

i would slowly become friends with him and DO NOT flirt with him and then just one day say you know (enter a boys name here) well I'm really starting to like him. Then he'll get the picture. Guys in high school or below can be cruel if they get rejected so if you reject them in a nonchalant way then they won't be so hurt. ya know.

tell him i'm glad you and I are friends. having male friends keeps things from being all complicated like when you go out with someone. he will get the message without getting hurt

Try to tell him as gently as possible. It might hurt him a little, but it is better to do it now rather than later.
