I suppose I can help you out with this, but I need a definitve price to work with, and remember gaming computers cost, don't listen to this people who say you can build your own gaming computer for $500, not gonna happen. Send me an email with a price, and also mention what peripherals you need, ie mice, keyboard, speakers, monitor, and whether you need to include the cost of an operating system in the price.

UGH- Gaming computers are NOT cheap!!!! They require higher end components than computers that are just used for web surfing, email, spreadhseets etc. Basically if you're buying something today, you'll want a Core 2 Duo 6300 or 6400, depending upon your budget. Unless you're going SLI on your video card solution (which is VERY expensive) there's no reason to consider AMD right now. Core 2 Duo is both more powerful and costs less.

Anyway, here's an *excellent* guide:

I really doubt that anyone will do that for free. My husband can build any computer you want and gets a retail discount from Newegg if you're interested.
