There is no life after death. After death the dead person mind no longer exist. The brain will still exist but will rot. The dead person will not have any senses. The dead person will not be blind, deaf, and numb but their perceptive will be nothing. Its like thinking about something you forgot or don't know or in other words their personality and information they have no longer exist kind of like disappearing. In laymen terms the dead see and hear what an unconscious person sees which is nothing since when an unconscious person wakes up they only remember the last thing they did right before they become unconscious.

Row row row your boat gently down the stream. Merrily Merrily Merrily Merrily life is but a dream.

Life is but a dream before we wake to a reality that is beyond our current understanding or experience. Death is just that doorway that we use to wake to the reality that is our universe's conscious. As human beings we naturally fear what we cannot understand. And since life after death is beyond our experience we sometimes fear it. Is there a God? in reality I have no idea and if I were to say yes then I would be answering purely out of faith. Faith being something that only a human being can have. If were to answer no and say there is no God then I would be the minority since 90 percent of the world believes in life after death in some form. Personally I think its arrogant to proclaim there is no life after death. Because basically your experience is to limited to make such a judgment. All I can say is this. Who’s to say that reality isn’t conscious of itself and we aren’t a result of that curiosity. IE the universe is trying to learn about itself through us. Then it would be a horrible waste for our experience to just end when our physical bodies die. We are part of a greater plan to understand the universe. I suggest you try to make the best of it and learn as much as you can while your here.

This is a question that has driven crazy every philosopher and theologist since the beginning of humanity...and they all died with that imposing question in their mind! However, we should leave religion aside as it does not lead to a scientific approach.

The answer is that nobody knows, because nobody has died and come back to tell us what's actually going on. Those who claim otherwise have experienced particular scenarios, but a true dead person has not returned.

So, the better answer is that life after death is whatever you make out of it, and whatever you believe. And it's OK that your beliefs are different than mine, and different than his, hers, etc.

It's a device within many religions to give comfort to that unansweable question "what happens when we die". The principle is that although your body dies (skin and bones) your spirit inside does not. Some beleive your spirit enters an afterlife, some beleive it re-enters another body (reincarnation).

You better ask first what is life before dying because dying is the continuation of your present life. If you are selfish now you will still be selfish after life. If you are good or wholly now your are still wholly after life.

A fairy tale made up by the church in order to keep the masses in line. Without the promise of heaven, why would people bother to follow the church? They wouldn't.
