It seems to me that the electric eel has no predators in the amazon. A jaguar, caiman, or anaconda wouldn't dare attack it! The coils of an anaconda are useless against this highly charged shocker! But is there anything that can attack and kill and electric eel?

Electric eels live in fresh water so they would be unlikely to encounter sharks. About the only things in their habitat big enough to eat them would be anacondas and caimans, and I doubt that either of them would be willing to suffer that kind of abuse in order to get a meal.

The only true enemy of a freshwater electric eel is a human. Pretty much everything else leaves them alone. They can generate about 600 volts on a first shock, which can easily kill even a human. Other eletric fish species include the electric ray (saltwater) and the electric catfish (fresh water).

The answer above me is incorrect. There are no known natural predators of the electric eel.

The only one I can think of is man and some forms of sharks. And when the eel is dead wallet can be made from it's skin but don't use it if you plan on putting credit cards in it because it will demagnetize your cards.
