1. The Others know a LOT about the people from the plane crash (they knew Sawyer's real name, and that Jack had a thing about the Red Sox winning the World Series); 2. Sun has been lying to her husband about a lot of things for a long time; 3. Jin KNOWS Sun has been lying to him about a lot of things for a long time; 4. The Others are skilled in psychological torture methods; and 5. Everybody on the island has more issues than the New York Times.

Here it is in a nutshell. Kate and Sawyer are put into forced labor, Jack is still being held in the Hydra, and Sayid manages to lose the sailboat to the Others. So much for all that military experience. Also included, a very boring flashback of Sun & Jin. You didn't miss much.
