Who was the actor who played Alexis' boyfriend on Dynasty?

I am pretty sure he was on Dynasty. He was killed (shot?) a few years later I believe. Very good loking guy. Blue eyes, strong chin.

The only boyfriend I remember Alexis having was Dex, played by Michael Nader - and he ain't dead. In trouble all the time with the New York Police, but not dead.
