OK here is what I think and I am none to skinny.......just because they make it in your size does not mean you should be wearing it ...or in this case I guess it is not there size to begin with...I think it is nasty...I mean there are just somethings that do not work for bigger gals...male or female......like for instance for all of the girls who gave this person crud about his comment ...you know we all would have something to say if there was a big guy walking around in a speedo....ewwwwwww....so I do not think it is the in thing to do.....I think it is more them wanting to feel good about themselves and let a little skin show...(maybe to much)

You know, not everyone likes skinny women either. Sure, I know what you mean about wearing clothing like that. Maybe these girls don't have a best friend to tell them it looks tacky. I know that I have a great body for 44, but I still will not wear shirts like that. the only place I bare my body is in the bedroom or at the nude beach. I honestly pay no attention anymore to what other people wear. It sounds kind of junior high to me but believe me, later in life, you don't pay attention to things like that after wisdom starts kicking in. It doesn't matter what people like like. It is what is inside that counts. Now as far as your personal choice of what you think is beautiful, there are men out there that absolutely adore heavy girls/women. It is all in the eye of the beholder. Nobody is telling you that you have to sleep with these women. Your brain and heart should be telling you different strokes for different folks and I should be compassionate instead of disdainful and critical. I hope your body is absolutely perfect. Judge not lest ye be judged. Know what I mean?

That is the definition of DENIAL, apparently.
Wishful thinking?
Maybe they buy into the whole MTV-pop-culture that more skin revealed is sexy?
They need a gay and fabulous friend to take them shopping; to show them that TIGHT and SCANTY is NOT sexy, but rather help them to select form-fitted. taylored, FLATTERING clothing.....
Today's trends are made specifically for skinny-waif (crack hoe) looking girls. They want to be in style, but they don't understand that the style is not made for them. Either that or they just can't accept it.
The best way to deal, is either look the other way, or befriend her. Be nice to her and inspire her to feel good around you. Encourage her to get physical (rackettball, rollerblading) with you and go shopping with her. When she feels good around you, and you have rapport established, she will be more receptive to your influence when it comes to fashion.,

I'm fat.. and I agree some clothes should come with a weight limit and not be made in certain sizes. Muffin Top is only cool if you are BAKING... ICK! It really doesnt matter if you are fat or thin..i say COVER UP.. leave a little to the imagination.

I don't think it's "the thing to do". Maybe, they never learned what looks best on their bodies. Who knows? Comments like yours, however, will only make them want to do it more. Try being nice for once.

Think this argument crosses over to all sizes and shapes. For the love of whomever, chicklets, cover your butts up! Admittedly, I'm pushing 40, but it is really getting gross. I'm sorry, but if you're showing more "butt cleavage" than you have on top COVER YOUR REAR!

It became the thing to do JUST AFTER getting that freakin FAT became the thing to do. I figure they bought the clothes when they were thin and then just ate until they didn't fit anymore.

I agree, anyone fat should be fully clothed or be charged with in-descent exposure.
